USDA Civil Rights Training and Customer Culture & Service Trainings – Albany

July 13 @ 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

USDA Civil Rights Training: Required for Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens and Shelters

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

All food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters receiving USDA commodities are now required to take this training once a year and keep documentation on site. We encourage you to take this training in person, but we will also be posting it on our website if you cannot attend.

Customer Culture & Service: Awareness and Diversity Workshop

12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

We know that “one size does not fit all” when it comes to hunger. Join us for an afternoon of exchange, awareness and ideas for your community outreach toolkit.

A complimentary lunch will be offered to full day attendees.

Please Note: Due to the cost of lunch and supplies, a $10 fee will be assessed to representatives from any agency missing the workshop without providing us at least 24 hours notice.

RSVP to Mary Rainey at 518-786-3691 ext. 236 or maryr@regionalfoodbank.net, or at https://albanycivilrightsdiversity.eventbrite.com by Thursday, July 6th.
