SUMMARY:39th Annual Holiday Hunger Appeal
DESCRIPTION:The Holiday Hunger Appeal is the Food Bank’s largest and most public fundraising event. This appeal runs from mid-November through Christmas Eve. A display is set up at Crossgates Mall where volunteers ask shoppers to make a donation to the Food Bank. \nMany businesses and organizations serve as Matching Day Sponsors\, matching collections in the mall on designated days and providing all or some of the day’s volunteers. Other groups take up collections or participate in special activities to raise funds and donate the proceeds to the Appeal.
