Our 2024 Thanksgiving food distribution has ended. If you are in need of food, please visit our Find Food page.
We are pleased to announce that the Regional Food Bank will be launching a Thanksgiving distribution this year on November 23. Working with partner sites throughout the immediate Capital Region, the Food Bank will host a number of drive-thru style distributions the weekend before Thanksgiving featuring a combination of food boxes and prepared meals. More information will be forthcoming here, so check back often for updates.
“We are so grateful to the team at Equinox for all they have done to assist neighbors in need for 54 years,” said Tom Nardacci, CEO of the Regional Food Bank. “We have big shoes to fill, but working together with Equinox, the community, our partners, volunteers, and staff, we can make Thanksgiving special for individuals, families, and seniors in need throughout the area.”
If you’re interested in volunteering to support our Thanksgiving Distribution, please visit the Volunteering page.
Look for any shifts between now and November 23 that are labeled with the word “Thanksgiving” in the title. These shifts will directly help us with the Thanksgiving Distribution on November 23. If you have any questions, please email our Volunteer Team at volunteers@regionalfoodbank.net.
Thank you.

In addition, we are partnering with several senior facilities throughout the area to deliver meals to their residents. These locations will not have products or meals available to the public. Thank you to all of our partners at these locations for making it possible for their residents to get the food they need.
