Mark your calendars for the 11th Annual Neighborhood Food Drive, which will take place in many area neighborhoods January 19-21, 2018. Homes in participating neighborhoods will receive grocery bags by Friday, January 19 with invitations to fill them and leave them out for pick up by volunteers on Sunday, January 21.

Started by Kathy Busch in her own Guilderland neighborhood in 2008, the collection now includes thousands of households throughout the Capital District. Last year Kathy and her Hunger Champions collected more than 30,000 pounds of food. Can they beat that total this year? We sure hope so!

If you would like to participate, bring your non-perishable food donation to the Food Bank’s dock on Sunday, January 21 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Food Bank is located at 965 Albany Shaker Road in Latham, NY 12110. Hope to see you there!
