C.R. England is a newer donor to the Regional Food Bank but they have become quickly involved in a big way. C.R. England is a trucking company, and a few years ago they made a decision to transition their corporate charitable giving toward achieving one goal: to provide one million meals annually to hungry children. To that end, they established a nationwide campaign called the One Initiative through which they donate a meal for every truckload of product they deliver. The Regional Food Bank is one of 19 food banks throughout the country that benefits from this innovative program. The company also invites its employees and customers to join the fight against childhood hunger by contributing financially and volunteering at local food banks. Additionally, C.R. England holds fundraising events at its facilities and donates all the proceeds to the One Initiative. In a few short years, C.R. England and its employees have donated thousands of dollars to the Regional Food Bank to help us expand our children’s feeding programs. They have also conducted food drives and school supply drives to assist us in other ways. We welcome C.R.
