Kristina Dixon, NOEP Coordinator

Hello! My name is Kristina Dixon. I am the Nutrition Outreach & Education Program Coordinator for the Regional Food Bank. I enjoy traveling and just spending time at home with my five daughters. I live a Gluten free lifestyle. My goal in life is to continue helping others in any way possible, which is part of my mission here at the Food Bank. My role with the food bank is to help assist individuals obtain their eligibility for the SNAP program to possibly receive benefits.

We all know we need food to survive but many do not realize how intimate food can be. We have three meals in a day and to be able to take the time out of your day and sit down with someone to have that meal and connect with one another is very important. Food is our reason to take these moments to slow down a bit and relax while sharing all our thoughts and experiences with the people closest to us.

Fun Fact: I recently went on my first cruise and enjoyed it so much that as soon as I got home, I booked my second cruise almost right away. Best part of the cruise was that I DID NOT HAVE TO COOK! But still was able to share all my meals with my family!
