Many businesses contribute generously to the Food Bank’s work. In this Hunger’s Hope edition, we highlight two great corporate supporters – Fenimore Asset Management and Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Fenimore Asset Management has been committed to the Regional Food Bank’s efforts for 25 years. Our friendship began when they first sponsored our annual Holiday Hunger Appeal, an Appeal they are still a lead sponsor of to this day. Throughout the years, they increased their support for nearly all our fundraising events, along with providing guidance on many of our event planning committees and supporting the efforts of our Patroon Land Farm. During our recent Capital Campaign, Fenimore Asset Management stepped in with critical funding to move the project forward, and they are supporting the current Capital Campaign for our branch location, Food Bank of the Hudson Valley. They have also provided representation on our Board of Directors, offering valuable insight, direction, and leadership. Most recently, Fenimore Asset Management signed up for our new Truck Sponsorship Program as soon as they learned about the opportunity, becoming one of the first companies to join. Never seeking recognition or the spotlight, Fenimore Asset Management has a deep appreciation for our staff, our partner agencies, and our neighbors in need. We are so grateful for our friendship with Fenimore Asset Management and the incredible impact their efforts have on the Food Bank and those we serve.

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals has been a friend of the Food Bank for more than 10 years. Their employees’ commitment to the community is second to none, with a history of providing active and enthusiastic volunteer groups for projects at our warehouse and Patroon Land Farm. Each year, Regeneron hosts an unbelievable food drive with a fun and engaging theme. Additionally, each department challenges the others to collect the most food for those in need…and it’s working! The Regeneron food drive continues to be the Food Bank’s largest food drive hosted by one organization, beaten only by themselves year upon year. Their collections fill entire trucks. In 2021 they collected more than 18 tons of food. In addition, Regeneron also supports the Food Bank financially, providing program support to our BackPack Program and organizing successful employee matching campaigns.
