If you left your role at your program – what would happen? How would you ensure your program is running and your neighbors are getting the food and services they need in your absence? Feeding programs play an essential role in their communities. It is vital they can be consistently relied upon by neighbors in need. Succession planning is a process to prepare personnel and operations for a smooth transition in planned or unplanned/emergency leadership changes, whether long-term or temporary.

Please join us for a workshop designed to help you create a customized succession plan for your feeding program. The goal of this in-person, interactive workshop is to help you outline and develop a comprehensive succession plan for leadership and other roles. You will leave with a list of key operational documents and processes, ideas around recruitment and retainment, and a view into other program’s operational processes.
