As the persons who come to food pantries change, so have the ways to serve them. One of these changes is client choice food pantries. A client choice pantry allows clients to select their foods instead of receiving a pre-packed or standard bag of groceries. It allows clients to choose their own foods and they do not take items they have already, do not like, or cannot eat for health or personal reasons. There are a variety of types of client choice to better suit each pantry’s needs.
