Bridges out of Poverty
September 9, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 2:30 pm
In this one-day intensive training, we will use the lens of economic class to examine variances in societal experience. Topics such as resources, building relationships, the language of economic class, and the hidden rules of economic class will lay a foundation for development of strategies to address poverty and create a more inclusive environment within our agencies and communities we serve.
Participants will receive specific strategies for improving outcomes for people living in poverty. While providing a broad overview of concepts related to the impact of generational poverty in our community, participants will receive specific strategies for improving outcomes for people living in poverty, individuals facing issues related to poverty, and communities impacted by poverty
